
Jennifer has always wanted to become a multitasking superstar. In her youth Jennifer was fond of a variety of kinds of music, mostly Afro-Caribbean music like merengue, salsa and bachata. She also loved mainstream music , like hip-hop and R&B. She was a big fan of music and film. West Side Story (1961) the musical by Rita Moreno that has had the most influence on her, was also her greatest influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. In addition to being an entertainment artist, Jennifer was also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years at a Catholic elementary school , named Holy Family, located within The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls prep school, Preston High School after an entire four years. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete who competed in tennis and track in school, was an exceptional pupil. Then, in Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story house. When she was 18, Jennifer moved out of her parent's home. Lopez was a lawyer during this time and also took night dancing classes.
